Wisdom and Knowledge

Bible Verse: 2Chr 1: 11-12

God said to Solomon, “Since this is your heart’s desire and you have not asked for wealth, riches or honor, nor for the death of your enemies, and since you have not asked for a long life but for wisdom and knowledge to govern my people over whom I have made you king, therefore wisdom and knowledge will be given you. And I will also give you wealth, riches and honor, such as no king who was before you ever had and none after you will have.

JMR's Words Of Wisdom

Many of us know Solomon as the wisest man ever on earth. But I submit to you that Solomon was wise before God blessed him with infinite wisdom and knowledge. God spoke to Solomon and told him to “Ask for whatever you want me to give you“…Solomon was wise enough to not ask for riches, honor, strength or power. He chose wisdom and knowledge.
God was so pleased with Solomon’s request that he bestowed upon him the other items that Solomon passed over. How powerful a statement is that. Solomon was humble with his request and was looking at how he could better help the people. God saw his intentions and went above and beyond his request.
.
Imagine, if we were as humble with our request from God and looked to help others before ourselves. God will bestow blessing upon us because our intentions are pure at heart. God will enrich your territory so that you can bless others even more than you originally planned to…
.
So, I urge you to always seek wisdom and knowledge, first to understand then be understood and watch God bless you beyond your requests….
.
Remember, it takes a long time to grow old friends
