A familiar passage from the parable of the 3 servants left with 10 minas from their master. It seems to me that in this context trustworthy means being diligent, pro-active, or hard-working.

God wants us to be hard-working in matters that he assigns us. And based on your level of effort towards your assignment he rewards you and further expands your coffers.

Seize opportunities, take charge of matters regarding assignments God puts before you and watch Him bless you for you diligence.
