Oneness
Bible Verse: John 17: 20-21
“My prayer is not for them alone. I pray also for those who will believe in me through their message, that all of them may be one, Father, just as you are in me and I am in you. May they also be in us so that the world may believe that you have sent me.
JMR's Words Of Wisdom
In the text John reveals that shortly before Jesus was to be taken he took time to pray for the Apostles but more importantly we see that Jesus prays for us, those who believe in him because of the apostles’ testimony.
.
Jesus clearly states that He wants us to be one! He wants us to live with the same unity, purpose, and character of God that he did.
.
Now, we can never have the same character as Jesus because he was perfect in his Godly spirit. We consistently fall short of that grace but we must strive for that type of character…
.
Remember, it takes a long time to grow old friends
