Proclamation

I find it peculiar that there is not more fanfare for the Lord. There are probably tens of million believers yet the buzz for God does not seem as grand as it could be.

I ask myself why is that?

.

How can a clowns go viral on YouTube with 11million hits but songs about the Lord barely get air play. Is it because Christians are afraid to speak out and proclaim the goodness of the Lord?

.

Are we afraid of infringing on someone else’s beliefs or too worried about being politically correct?

.

In the text, Ezra is declaring what we should be doing as Christians. Paul had a similar plea in several of his letters to the church.

.

We have no problem spreading the word on sales at the mall, a fine dining restaurant or a special event so why not start spreading the word about the wonderful acts of God.
