Spirits
Bible Verse: 1 John 4: 1-3
Dear friends, do not believe every spirit, but test the spirits to see whether they are from God, because many false prophets have gone out into the world. This is how you can recognize the Spirit of God: Every spirit that acknowledges that Jesus Christ has come in the flesh is from God, but every spirit that does not acknowledge Jesus is not from God. This is the spirit of the antichrist, which you have heard is coming and even now is already in the world.
JMR's Words Of Wisdom
Power stuff….how many times have you heard a person who said something or did something that turned out doing harm say the “spirit” lead me. If that was truly the case that person obviously neglected to validate that spirit as indicated above.
.
Perhaps, it was of their own volition that they took it upon themselves to act in such a manner.
.
God warns us that there are many false prophets and many demonic spirits loose in the world today. It is incumbent upon us to know the difference between the Spirit of God and the others.
.
These demonic spirits come in many forms: spirits of the tongue, spirits of action, spirits of anger, spirits of doubt, spirits of unfaithfulness, spirits of rebuke…etc., etc.
.
Take inventory of what spirits lead you in your daily activities…
.
Remember, it takes a long time to grow old friends….
