God’s Presence/Sustain

One of the things I hear the elders say is that God’s presence is always with you. No matter what situation you are in you can call on God to sustain you. As I’ve gotten older, I’ve come to realize the wisdom in these words.

In the text, God is speaking to the house of Jacob and He clearly states that he will be with them even when they are old and gray. God can bring so many intangibles to our lives. He can provide peace of mind, clarity, understanding, wisdom, etc…

One of the things I’ve begun to practice is before a mtg or presentation I ask God for clarity, understanding, discernment and a calm spirit. If God is always present, then He is surely in the midst of my mtg. Therefore, if I asked for his sustaining presence, He will surely be there to guide me.

From my understanding this should be 2nd nature to us in every aspect of our lives. We should be asking for God’s direction and guidance in everything we do. For His presence is always present…remember to call upon Him even for the small things. At least then He will recognize your voice when you ask for the BIG things… one luv.
