Bible Verse: Psa 30: 4-5

Sing to the LORD, you saints of his; praise his holy name. For his anger lasts only a moment, but his favor lasts a lifetime; weeping may remain for a night, but rejoicing comes in the morning.

JMR's Words Of Wisdom

How many of us have held onto our anger longer than necessary? For whatever reason our pride, our hurt feeling or just because we can’t get passed an issue.
Don’t get me wrong, I’m not saying that there is no place for anger, and neither is God.
Even Jesus became enraged and angered when he found people gambling, taxing and profiting on the temple steps. BUT God wants us to be slow to anger and even more important our anger should only last a moment.
There are many instances in the bible where God became angered and cast down his wrath BUT, in some cases, He also forgave and showed favor to the same people he was angered by.
Can we say the same for ourselves? Does our anger subside, and do we forgive readily?
I challenge you to not hold onto your anger. Ask God to help you release that emotion and forgive.
Remember, it takes a long time to grow old friends…Be Blessed
