If we are the Christians, we claim to be, we should never have to be terrified or discouraged for a sustained amount of time. I say sustained amount of time because as humans we are emotional creatures by nature and in the face of adversities, tragedies or disasters will have an initial emotional reaction. But GOD clearly states that we should NOT be terrified or discouraged. In fact, we are commanded to be strong and courageous. Why? Because the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go.
