Christian Living

Bible Verse: Eph 4: 29 - 32

Do not let any unwholesome talk come out of your mouths, but only what is helpful for building others up according to their needs, that it may benefit those who listen. And do not grieve the Holy Spirit of God, with whom you were sealed for the day of redemption. Get rid of all bitterness, rage and anger, brawling and slander, along with every form of malice. Be kind and compassionate to one another, forgiving each other, just as in Christ God forgave you.

JMR's Words Of Wisdom

Today’s topic concentrates on Christian living and how we should deal with each other in a loving manner. Often times I suspect we find ourselves suppressing issues that may lead to conflict for the sake of avoiding an argument. After a while of suppressing these issues, undoubtedly, something happens where we can no longer bite our tongues and a multitude of issues spill out.
.
Well, what may have been a small issue, if dealt with on its own merit, now takes on the last umpteen issues we have suppressed. The bible tells us to confront our issues in love.
.
Many times, conflict occurs because of a misunderstanding, lack of communication or actions falling short of one’s expectations. If we confront our loved ones in love w/o attacking and attempt to build a common understanding, issues can be resolved peaceably.
.
Remember, it takes a long time to grow old friends…
