Help

A very simple topic this week, HELP. The context of the text is stating we should look to God for our Help and strength. If you place your trust in the Lord, you can be reassured that He will help you with your cause. Often times, we lean to our own understanding and try to solve our own issues.

Well, there comes a point when we are either overwhelmed with the number of issues or the issues overwhelm us and drain our mental, emotional and sometimes physical capacity.

.

God wants us to take these issues to Him immediately or as the old schooler’s say from “jump street“. Why burden yourselves with worry and fret when you can call upon the Lord to give you guidance and strength to help through any situation.

.

How ridiculous is it that we don’t use an indispensable resource at our fingertips to help. That’s like having bill collectors ready to turn off your utilities while you have thousands of dollars in the bank.

.

The resources are available to you at any time, but you won’t go make a withdrawal. Well, I’m asking you to make a withdrawal from BOG (Bank of God) anytime you have concerns about an issue. And the good news is this bank is open 24/7.

Lean not to your own strength but call upon the Lord in every situation….and once your help arrives remember to give thanks and praise.
