The man of integrity walks securely, but he who takes crooked paths will be found out.
JMR's Words Of Wisdom
A simple verse this week coming from the wise book of proverbs. Websters defines integrity – The quality of being honest and having strong moral principles; moral uprightness.
.
I started thinking about this word “integrity” and how it applies to our so-called leaders. There is a fundamental belief that we hold, that our leaders of church and state will have supreme integrity. We automatically assume that these men and women will epitomize the definition Websters has set out.
.
But far too often, we find ourselves disappointed and disgusted with the leaders we put into office. I submit to you that we must first ensure that we walk with integrity. Hold yourself accountable because the man that takes the crooked path eventually will be found out.
