Justice

In the text Moses is giving instructions on how to live your life. The specific text centers around showing justice to all and not being swayed by outside influences; bribes, special favors and the like.

I submit that this verse should be sent to every politician out there. In a time where big business, corporations and special interest groups seem to control our elected officials, we need, no should demand that our representatives follow justice at all times.

Wouldn’t it be refreshing to have the confidence in our elected leaders to know that they are 100% committed to justice and can not be swayed by bribes, contribution and the like.

Moses clearly understood that even in biblical times man would be tempted by such tactics. Moses further indicates that if you follow justice God will look favorable upon you.

I urge you to follow justice when all else fails…and watch God lift you up.
