Move by Faith
Bible Verse: Matt 17: 18 - 20
Jesus rebuked the demon, and it came out of the boy, and he was healed at that moment. Then the disciples came to Jesus in private and asked, “Why couldn’t we drive it out?” He replied, “Because you have so little faith. I tell you the truth, if you have faith as small as a mustard seed, you can say to this mountain, ‘Move from here to there’ and it will move. Nothing will be impossible for you.”

Interesting topic this week. Was listening to a morning program on the way to work this week and this phrase caught my ear. How many times do we feel that we are stymied in our position, whatever the circumstance?

We feel as though we do not know which way to turn. Many times God has already shown us which path to take yet we are reluctant because WE do not see it as a CLEAR path. We hem and haw and most times wait for more confirmation or rely on man to provide his confirmation. God wants us to MOVE BY FAITH and believe that if we follow his direction we can never go wrong.

Now, let’s be clear, God’s path may come with some rocky roads. You may have to put your faith into 4-wheel drive to get over these rocky sections but by all means God will equip you with the proper tools (i.e. shocks) to absorb this rough terrain and press forward.

Recall the saying, “Nothing worth having comes easy” BUT if we move by faith, we will look back and probably say it was worth the effort. So, when God points you in a direction, fill up your faith tank and put on your hard hat and put your foot on the gas and GO……
.
Remember, it takes a long time to grow old friends…be well
