Peace

A few short words regarding peace of mind. A few years ago, I bought a book entitled Zen Golf. It talks about having peace in your mind to perform at your maximum ability.

Many people relate the word peace with physical warfare or fighting but you can also have a battle within yourself between yourself.

.

The mind can be torn in which course of action to take, between doing good vs evil and many, many other issues. God wants us to have peace in our mind and not be overwhelmed with emotional turmoil.

One guaranteed way to obtain peace of mind is to focus on God and relinquish those burdens to him.

Do not rely on your own understanding to solve EVERYTHING… take those burdens or worries to God and allow His peace to come over you. Yolanda Adams says, “worry about nothing, pray about everything.”

Do not let trifles disturb your tranquility of mind…. Life is too precious to be sacrificed for the nonessential and transient…Ignore the inconsequential…. – Grenville Kleiser
