Bible Verse: Eph 3:16 - 19
I pray that out of his glorious riches he may strengthen you with power through his Spirit in your inner being so that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith. And I pray that you, being rooted and established in love, may have power, together with all the Lord’s holy people, to grasp how wide and long and high and deep is the love of Christ and to know this love that surpasses knowledge—that you may be filled to the measure of all the fullness of God.

What’s the greatest thing we can do to bless those we love? What is the most helpful thing we can do when a brother is facing a major challenge from the adversary? What is one of the greatest gifts we can give to our children?

I’m sure a multitude of answers jumped into your mind ranging from love, support, understanding, etc….But let me submit this to you as a possible answer:

The apostle Paul just told us. We can ask God to strengthen his people with the presence and power of the Holy Spirit in their inner being. Then we can let them know that we have prayed this for them, and that we will continue to pray until their storm is past.

Don’t sleep on the power of prayer…..

Remember, it takes a long time to grow old friends..
