The Future

In life there are many plans that we have and want to make happen. Often times these plans are contrary to where the Lord wants us to go. Many of our plans are based on desires or wants. We want a fine car, a big house, the prettiest girl. These are material items we desire.

Rarely do we desire a pure heart, a closer relationship with God, understanding of our purpose until times hit rock bottom. When we chase the desires of our hearts contrary to Gods plan it often leads to setbacks in our life’s that require us to work doubly hard to recover from.

If we would follow the counsel/direction of the Lord we would not only find the road less rocky but our desires fulfilled anyway. God wishes to give us our desires if we are faithful to his word.
